Accelerating collapse, accelerating response.

The Solidarity Prepping Group will meet one week later than usual, on 21 March. See below...

Accelerating collapse, accelerating response.

Obviously, the news is bad. But we expect that! We have known for years (many of us) that we are living the history of collapse. The question that faces us is how to respond.

We have chosen the path of love, compassion, and intentional responsibility. We seek to benefit our fellow beings and the Earth, as much as we can within our sphere of influence. Nothing else is asked of us, and nothing more can be done.

Part of our response is gathering together to tell each other our stories and to share our wisdom and experience. We have three meetings to tell you about:

  1. Solidarity Prepping Group, 21 March, one week later than usual.
  2. How does deep adaptation help us navigate accelerating collapse?, 14 March (this Saturday).
  3. An Introduction to "FutureCamp" with Tadzio Müller and Scully, of Kollapscamp, 18 April.

1. Solidarity Prepping Group - 21 March

We will meet at a three-week interval instead of our regular two-week interval, to make way for the Deep Adaptation event on 14 March, which you can see below. Going forward we will meet every two weeks.

Here is the report of our previous meeting:

Solidarity Prepping Group meeting report: 28 February 2026
by Kat Soares & Susan Porter, 11 March 2026 We chose two topics to discuss in breakout rooms: 1. The Breakdown of Systems, 2. Food Preparedness. (See below for a complete list of topics.) The questions we addressed in our breakout rooms were: 1. Where is our curiosity on this topic?

The next meeting of the Solidarity Prepping Group will be Saturday 21 March at 11am Pacific time.

NOTE WELL: U.S. time has changed, but European time has not! We are using U.S. time to schedule this meeting, so for our European friends, the clock time will be one hour earlier than usual: 6pm London, 7pm Paris & Berlin.

Please visit our Meeting Calendar to see the time in your time zone. The meeting will be facilitated by Kat Soares and Susan Porter. See here for the themes of our discussion.

Join the meeting at this link, which redirects to a Zoom link and opens the meeting: https://meeting.collapseclub.com.

2. How does deep adaptation help us navigate accelerating collapse? - 14 March

Collapse Club is an outgrowth of Deep Adaptation, so we are pleased to be participating in this special event. This gathering is part of an ongoing effort to re-energize and perhaps to re-invent the Deep Adaptation Forum.

Special event: “How does deep adaptation help us navigate accelerating collapse?”
Sat Mar 14, 2026 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM (Time zone: UTC)

Your perspectives and stories matter. Let us inspire and support one another as we share - in the larger circle and more intimate breakout rooms - how deep adaptation informs and supports us as we navigate our collapsing world.

Why join?

  • Feel the relief of sharing our stories in a supportive community
  • Find inspiration from how others embody deep adaptation in their lives and communities.
  • Discover that you are not alone and feel strengthened by a stronger sense of belonging.
  • Share sense-making with others, of our own engagement with deep adaptation and take stock of how it shows up in our lives, relationships and communities
  • Help volunteers at the DA Forum discern and act on what people need from DAF
  • Form a more accurate and up-to-date story about the tangible benefits of engaging with deep adaptation and the DA Forum

3. An Introduction to "FutureCamp" with Tadzio Müller and Scully, of Kollapscamp - 18 April

The people who brought you Kollapscamp are planning a new and ambitious venture which they are calling: FutureCamp.

In September 2026, 200 people will gather in Germany to practice skills of Solidarity Prepping: They will train for four days, take one day off, and then for two days they will live out the scenario of disaster and deprivation. The practitioners will be called upon to learn and exhibit skills in four areas:

  1. Communication
  2. Food supply & logistics
  3. First aid/trauma support
  4. Protection & collective defence.

On 18 April, Tadzio and Scully will join us for a webinar and Q&A, to explore the origins of Solidarity Prepping and to talk about the challenges of bringing the ideology to life. More info coming soon!

As collapse accelerates, so does our response. We hope you'll join us! ❤️ DB
