Video recordings of our fortnightly seminars

Every two weeks, the Practical Adaptation Community presents a seminar from one of our members on a topic related to building resilience in ourselves, our homes, and our communities. The presentations are recorded, along with the Q&A sessions afterward. Please visit our YouTube Channel to view the "Practical Adaptation" playlist.

Prepping for resilience by building community

As collapse accelerates around us, we have come to see that prepping is not about the future; it's about building strong communities, today. We already need to respond to emergencies ranging from natural disasters like fires and floods, to manmade events like attacks on our communities by paramilitary forces.

In every case, a connected community with strong bonds of communication, trust, and understanding is the foundation for resilience. In the Practical Adaptation Community, we work together to identify opportunities for connection in our communities, and we practice the skills needed to fortify our capabilities.

The Practical Adaptation Community meets online every two weeks on Saturday to share inspiration and encouragement in the work of building resilience. Visit our Meeting Calendar for meeting times, and sign up for our newsletter to receive the meeting link.
