Prepping for resilience by building community
As collapse accelerates around us, we have come to see that Solidarity Prepping is not about the future; it's about building strong communities, today. We already need to respond to emergencies ranging from natural disasters like fires and floods, to manmade events like attacks on our communities by paramilitary forces.
In every case, a connected community with strong bonds of communication, trust, and understanding is the foundation for resilience. In the Solidarity Prepping Group, we work together to identify opportunities for connection in our communities, and we practice the skills needed to fortify our capabilities.
The Solidarity Prepping Group meets online every two weeks on Saturday to share inspiration and encouragement in the work of building resilience. Visit our Meeting Calendar for meeting times, and sign up for our newsletter to receive the meeting link.

How it works
You can read on this blog about the Five Elements of Solidarity Prepping. We also recommend the blog of Tadzio Müller, founder of the German "Kollapscamp," and the principle proponent of Solidarity Prepping. (English, German).
The posts in this blog are "tagged" with the elements. You can see the collections via the links below.
- Emergency Preparedness: Learning skills, collecting supplies, and making plans.
- Community Networking: Finding and participating in existing local networks.
- Mutual Aid: Acting in concert for the material benefit of other people.
- Disaster Relief (coming soon): Responding to catastrophic events with Mutual Aid.
- Self-Defense: Protecting our community from its enemies.
