The theme of the Solidarity Prepping Group seminar on Saturday 27 June was small scale farming, emphasizing the role of animal husbandry.
Hynek from Czechoslovakia presents. He says:
I have been farming/homesteading with my partner Alena for more than 15 years in the Czech republic, in places which are more suitable for animals than for crops. We have now horses for work, cow for milk and meat, sheep for wool and meat, pigs for meat and soil preparation, rabbits for meat, chickens for eggs and meat, ducks for eggs and pest control, dogs for fun and security, cats for pest control, bees for honey and pollination, and all of them together for bringing fertility to our garden and field.
